My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I would like to tell you about a special project we're planning to do on Pine Tree Retreat and would like to invite you to prayerfully consider being a part of it.

This will be our first major project for Pine Tree Retreat. It entails renovating a cement block house that my Dad built in the 1950's. I believe that this is the first building project that God wants done on the retreat. Our present facilities include a double wide mobile home and a camper that sleeps six. God showed me how the "block house", as we refer to it, is to be renovated. He sowed me to put pine paneling on the inside and on the outside and to call it the Pine Lodge. Presently, the structure is just the walls and roof: no wiring, no plumbing, no windows, and no doors.

We're calling it "The Israel Project". I believe it's a "God" idea given to my son, Bob. We have determined that it will cost approximately one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000.00) to renovate the house, if we do it the way God showed me to do it; so we're taking the twelve sons of Israel, which are also the names of the tribes of the Nation of Israel, and dividing the project up into twelve phases, beginning with the eldest son, Reube, and ending with the youngest son, Benjamin. Each phase will be $10,000.00. We plan on having teaching on the Twelve Tribes of Israel as a model for government in the Body of Christ as we proceed through each phase. This is our first fundraising effort for the retreat, and we know that if God is in it, it'll be very successful.

In a follow-up letter we'll share more details about the "Reuben" phase and what we hope to accomplish and what kind of time line we hope to follow in getting each phase completed.
